Not much going on in SHIFTHEAD land. I had my bike slightly taken apart trying to figure out the intricacies of replacing a solid fat boy wheel with a spoke wheel. Also, with the introduction of a wideglide frontend I had to change the throttle cable around. Thanks to Aric, I didnt go apeshit and start beating my bike with a hammer. It got a little frustrating.
Alright, back on topic. While I had the tanks off, I tried out the "Shitty ol' smashed tank" my old man gave me. I cut the tunnel out of it a few months back to hammer out the cinder-block mark. Aric happened to see it sitting under the bench and he said "Toss that fucker on there, lets see how it looks". Wow. I think this tank has a new lease on life coming up in the near future. What do you think?
