Out With the New, In With the OLD!!!!

So a while ago my neighbor Brian told me he was thinking about selling or trading his mostly-finished CFL project to get into a shovelhead project. I was stoked when he told me the other night that he thought he might have found one. Well, he did.








An old grey-beard up the road had this generator shovelhead in his shop and he was looking to offload it. When I came home today and saw this sitting in his driveway, I couldnt believe it! This thing was hardtailed and chopped back in the day. Its a pretty solid project, only needing minor parts to be a runner. Anyone got a front cylinder head they want to get rid of?

Brian plans to change a few things, but mainly just get it running and riding. The only request by the old man: "You can have the bike, but I want my hinged rear fender BACK!" Good job Brian, even if you do have to sleep on the couch for a few nights!
