I have transitioned from transient to resident of my very own place with little difficulty, not that homelessness was an obstacle preventing me from getting a bike. If anything it was a motivator! I have since realized that owning 5 or 6 cars is very unnecessary for a man in my position, anyhow.. I don't have a bike yet, but I'm preparing for one, my dining room will not house a dinner table, but rather be used to park a bike. I have a giant rug so I don't fuck up the stupid carpet.... Here's a test run done this evening because the DMV sucks!
