Born-Free '10

The blogs are a-buzz with pictures and tales of this years born free. Well, your favorite SHIFTHEAD blog is no different. We ran down for the day and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We showed up trying to smuggle beer in only to find out they had 2 pallets (yes, PALLETS) of FREE PBR. Then we went to grab some grub and realized that Hot Dog on a Stick was giving away the first corn dogs free to every customer. Then a few hours later we went for tacos and realized THOSE were ALSO free! On top of all of that, the show was free entry for viewers and participants. Man, they arent joking when they say Born-FREE. This was a welcome sight after the ass-raping I took at the Santa Maria show this year. I had to pay $120 for people to look at 2 of my cars, bullshit. The cool thing about the free shit at the Born-Free show is that they also had tip jars so you could show some suppot when you got beer or tacos. I feel way more generous whem im not forced into blowing money, and I can volunteer it!

Whoever owns this white and blue panhead is a full man. This has got to be my favorite bike. And that orange shovel is a REAL close second. just sayin...



















Id like to say THANK YOU to all the guys that made the Born-Free '10 show happen. Man, it was one of the best shows I think ive been too. The show was packed full of the baddest bikes ive ever seen. The vibe was real cool with no drama and everyone seemed to have had a good time. Ill definately be making time to come next year, but my suggestion to the Born-Free guys is to get a space thats at least DOUBLE the size of this years!

*on a side note, I was 3 numbers away from winning the Born-Free panhead. If they would have let me buy the amount of tickets I wanted to that day, one of us SHIFTHEADS would still be sporting full man-boner... just sayin.
