Mrs SHIFTHEAD's Modified

This was Mrs SHIFTHEAD's modified. We found this car on Vandenberg Air Force Base in the summer of '08. It was built by a guy in LA, and finished by a guy in the Bay Area. It was then sold a few different times on the Central Coast, then we ended up with it. It had radials on the back and no shocks. We put new front blackwalls on the front, Porsche adjustable rear shocks, and an old set of Indglewood cheater slicks (courtesy of Jordan) on the back. This car had a 53/54 Ford 215 with a Ford-O-Matic tranny. It had a weird ladder bar setup, and it would loosen as you drove it! Then when the rear suspension articulated, it would move the driveline ALL out of whack and vibrate like hell! That issue was addressed also. Once we fixed all the small things, we drove the crap out of it! We had a blast in it, but like most cars, it had to be sold for bigger and better things. The third pic with the whitewall slicks is how it looked when we sold it. I felt bad, Lady SHIFT cried when it drove off. (dick...)
